About me
My obsession with computers and video games started from my childhood. Choosing a course to major in,at the university was relatively easy as my path was clear and my mind was made up a long time ago. I am currently a 300L undergraduate of computer science at Imo state university. My journey into the vast world of computing has not been easy.As a young Jambite fresh from secondary school;burning with passion and eager to learn new things , my expectations going into tertiary institution were very high;unknown to me,my future lecturers had other plans. Words could not describe my disappointment when it finally dawned on me that I walked alone on the swampy path to freedom(Computer Literacy) , our lecturers taught us nothing of use as we were bombarded with deprecated coding techniques and obsolete programming languages far back from the 1900s,and above all,they just didn't care.Needless to say,the IT/Tech wing of the Nigerian Educational system is rotten;buried far deep underground with no light at the end of the tunnel; that, however, is a story for another day.
I resorted to self-learning when it became clear to me that the University system could not get me to my desired destination THIS IS THE DELIMMA OF EVERY CS STUDENT OUT THERE. I completed HTML,CSS and Javascript online courses at SoloLearn after which i studied web-dev resources on Youtube,Udemy, Freecodecamp,W3schools and turtorialspoint. I am presently serving as an intern at Weasley Computer Institute. Ultimately I wish to become a fullstack developer after which I aspire to move into mobile app developement(swift;ios). Learning never stops,shalom!
