What is Deviation?

Your x and y deviation is the difference between what a point is suppose to measure vs. what it actually measures.

So for example:
If your print shows a "True" dimension of 1.000", but the "Actual" measurement is 1.003", your deviation = 0.003".Use this process to find X, then simply repeat for y as well and insert you numbers into the calculator.

You then take your x and y deviations and plug them into the calculator. Your result will give you how far out from true position your point is. If it is less than the tolorence specified by the print, the point location is good!
