BigDecimal

The java.math.BigDecimal class provides analogues to all of Java's primitive type decimal i.e. floating point operators. Simply stating, the BigDecimal class can be used to deal with very large decimals. A BigDecimal object can be constructed in multiple ways like:
BigDecimal(int val)
BigDecimal(long val)
BigDecimal(double val)
BigDecimal(String val)
BigDecimal(BigInteger val)
BigDecimal(BigInteger unscaledVal, int scale)

This code can be used to multiply two very large decimals.


	            BigDecimal bd1 = new BigDecimal("12334658679567.543242343654434");

	            BigDecimal bd2 = new BigDecimal("30457934659437.659435743563745");

	            BigDecimal bd3 = bd1.multiply(bd2);

	            System.out.println(bd3);

It outputs 375688228108733830210249010.794905817315146175057930895330 (Try It Yourself!), which is the product of two large decimals i.e. a very large decimal, with exact precision.

Using the BigDecimal class, we can perform operations on decimals having upto 2³¹-1 i.e. 2,147,483,647 digits, with the decimal point.
