How Does COVID-19 Spread?

COVID-19 is spread when

a person who has the virus sneezes, coughs or even talks and their droplets come into contact with another person's eyes or mouth.It can also be spread through contaminated surfaces if the contaminated person's droplets are on a table for example.

What Are The Symptoms?

There are many different symptoms for COVID-19

Some of the more common symptoms are:

- fever
- dry cough
- tiredness

Less common symptoms can be:

- headaches
- aches and pains
- loss of taste or smell
- a rash on skin or discolouration

More severe symptoms are:

- difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
- chest pain
- loss of speech or movement

How To Prevent COVID-19

The Five Main Steps to Prevention are:

1. Wash your hands often

2. Stay home unless it is very urgent/necessary for you to go out

3. Keep a safe distance from everybody

4. Try not to touch any part of your face as often as possible

5. Cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough using a tissue or your bent elbow.
