Why I must learn programming?

Programming became an essential tool in every industry there is.Farming,Engineering,Fishing...etc. Basically everything is using programming now.

In the near future robots will be able to do everything except programming and you can imagine the job market then.

So what should i start with?

Ok First you have to decide what you like. Web design,Webdevelopment,Descktop applications, Databases, There are tons of things you can learn.However begging from scratch you might wana take a look at evertrhing available first.

Well,How long will becoming a professional take?

This is entirely up to you and what you define as a professioanl.It varies but give your self 1-3 months of exploring, See everything available and learn all what you get your hands on. After that you will be ok on your way
