How to use python in termux?
-step by step guide

📲 Step 1:Install Termux

Install termux from PlayStore.

🐍 Step 2:Install Python

Install python in your local device simply by running this command..

pkg install python

It will install the latest stable version python(currently 3.6).

💻 Step 3:Install Vim

Install vim by running..

pkg install vim

Now install vim-python for syntax-highlighting for python code.

pkg install vim-python

📄 Step 4:Create a new file

Create a new file with .py extension. Here I am creating a new file named hello-world.py

touch hello-world.py

Then open this file in vim text-editor by using..

vim hello-world.py

📝 Step 5:Editing/Writing code

When that file opens up in vim you'll see an blank read-only file, nothing else. To make it editable type i in your keyboard.
Now write some code in it. To save the code in the file at first press Esc^* key. Then type :wq command. It will save the code and immediately quit the editor.

📜 Step 5:Executing Code

Now you have to tell your device that this programme is executable by using this command..

chmod +x hello-world.py

Now execute your programme by simply running..

python hello-world.py

You can see the output in the terminal.

You're done. That's all you needed to getting started with python in Termux.

This is the conventional way to execute a python programme.

💡 Now you might want to execute python code right from terminal without creating new file for practicing as a beginner. There's a hackway to do that. Just type python in terminal and hit enterNow you can do both write and execute python programme from terminal.

*In writing code section i mentioned about Esc key. If you are using a soft keyboard, you won't probably find that key in your keyboard. While termux is open you can activate it by doing VolumeKeyUp+Q.
