Greetings! My name is Jonny and I am an aspiring developer.

Currently I work as a Behavior Therapist who helps children who have developmental disabilities, like Autism.

I studied Social Science and have worked in Behavioral Health since graduating with a B.A. degree. Before my B.A., I worked primarily in customer service.

In Research Methods courses I learned some basic R programming to run statistics. This was the beginning of my interest in programming.

I hope to become a Junior Developer in the near-term future. I've found SoloLearn to be very helpful in beginning my pursuit of that goal!

I am currently learning and practicing HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

I anticipate learning other technologies like Java, C#, Python, JS frameworks, Databases and workflow tools. For now I'm just a humble beginner getting my feet wet.

Beyond web development and computer science, I am interested in comedy, music, statistics, learning and behavior, the outdoors, special education and Dodgers baseball. I love playing the upright bass and the guitar, and hanging out with friends and family.

My First Demo

I got help from some Sololearners (@visph and @Jared Bird) on the basic JavaScript used here. I simply use the onclick() event attribute, some functions and an array. My JS understanding is still very limited so I appreciate their suggestions!
