The Dusking Day

The Dusking Day

Watching the setting sun
Is a beautiful sight.
It shows rest may begin
And prepares us for the coming night.

The vibrant colors I see
Give a special sense of warmth.
It just fills my soul with glee,
Similar to that of my rebirth!

Oh the colors of this precious star
Are signing a lease to lend me peace.
Oh how soothing these colors are
That fill my heart with joy to ne'er cease.

That brilliant color of orange
And that splendid color of pink
Are supporting my thoughts as a door hinge;
One giving me a precious wink

And the other blowing a sweet kiss.
A kiss none can resist
And o'er comes me with natural bliss.
Not cloud, nor mist

Can hinder these gifts.
It must be a divine pleasure
Which never too far drifts,
But must daily lower.

Ever so slowly and gently receding
Is that passionate light.
The job is simply temporarily slowing
To make it feel just right.

As the night draws near,
The temperature drops.
A star appears here and there
And the moon glistens upon Earth's crops.

'Tis now I grow weary
To the point where I must lay my head.
I must'nt long tarry
For the time of rest is just ahead.

All the joy and peace I collected
Can now be put to use.
The Father places me in bed
So the spirit may unloose.

Immediately the Savior I see
And all others who I've missed.
Don't miss this eternal peace
You can freely receive if you only believe!
