MDN webdocs	This site is similar to w3schools, however some argue that it is more up to date(source required)
Geekforgeeks	This is not for the faint hearted, This site explores many algorithms and has something for people on different levels. Go here if you want to stick out from the rest.
Css-tricks	It does exactly what it says on the tin.
jsbin.com Codepen	Free online IDEs that can be use to practice coding skills. It provides you with space to code HTML, CSS and JS. It also allows you to see the output of your code in realtime, and on the console. Codepen is more community based as other users can share their code
javascript book	A Fantastic online book which can also be downloaded if you wish. It teaches you Javascript and Jquery
Codecademy	This site provides you with an ide for you to learn web development languages such as html, css, javascript and jquery amongst other languages
Sololearn	This is a great site for beginners. You can download the app on your mobile device and learn as you travel. It hosts a ton of resources to learn various languages, and allows you to show off your coding skills in the coding playground. You may also challenge, follow and respond to other members
FreeCodeCamp	Similar to codecademy but has a wider selection of free material to choose from, it also goes more in depth
Sanfoundry	For all you perfectionists who want to test your knowledge with multiple choice questions on various languages including C++, java, javascript, php and more!
Codewars CodeFights	A place to test out your programming skills on multiple platforms. You get to see different solutions for problems after the task is completed
