Full Bridge Rectifier

A bridge rectifier is a common circuit in power supplies.

It is the corner stone of the transformation of an AC signal to DC.

It comprises of four diodes, that allow or block the signal in such a way that only positive voltage is supplied to the output nodes(+ and -).

First graph is the AC input.

Second graph is the rectified signal (basically is the absolute function).

Third graph is an example of when a rectified signal is applied on a capacitor and resistor load in parallel. It represents the voltage supplied to the load, with some minute ripples.
