Article opinion: Why do we code?

The question of why we code can be answered in several ways. The answer is different for everyone, but the love for code should be the very same. Few people have asked me why I like coding, but when they do ask I give them several answers.

I enjoy coding for many reasons, the first reason being my curiousity. Curiousity is one of my big traits, it's how I managed to dig my head into technology. Second, ITS MAGIC! Programming is literally magic, you tell the computer what to do and presto! I also enjoy it because it involves logical, critical thinking. I want to train my brain to become a logical and critical thinker.

There are also secondary things like: in demand jobs, salary, and so on. However, secondary things like these should never interfere in our career decisions. We should have a passion to code, and should never do it for only one thing such as money, expectations, or for the "engineer" title.
