Santa Claus

It took me about 24 hours total (spread over about a week) to complete this project.

This is one of my first 3D projects. That's why it took so long.

Both the model (including all of the textures, except the SoloLearn logo) and the JavaScript code is created by me. I decided to code as much as possible manually to really get a feel how 3D graphics work. One of the challenges was making the camera rotate. I ended up creating functions to to transform spherical coordinates to Cartesian coordinates and back (reference).

The 3D graphics are powered by WebGL using THREE.js library (which I'm not the author of).

The SoloLearn logo cube is made of a reflective material and therefore glitters. :)
