Installing oldest version of Sololearn App!

Prerequisites

Before we begin, I think it will be better if I will tell my Sololearn story. It appears I am a Sololearn user for more than 3 years: first time I've installed Sololearn about 3 years ago and started learning Python, but then there was a huge break for almost 2 years. I've made a few attempts to come back but they were unsucsessful. Eventually I've returned in April this year.

What is this code about?

Today we will see how did the first ever version of Sololearn app look. I mean the all-in-one app we are using now, not separate apps for learning different languages.

The description on Google Play says that the first version of SL was released in October, 2016. I've found version 0.7 which was released then.

Downloaded and installed. The app icon looks a bit different. Pretty excited, let's launch the app!

After logging in, this is the first thing I saw. This it how the activity page looked 4 years ago. It's similiar to what it looks now.

Learn section looked completely different.

The most interesting part

Now when we're done with different tabs which were pretty much the same as now, let's see some much more interesting things:

Here are notifications - as you can see there was no DM tab, so there was no DM feature in this app.

Let's take a look at user's profile:

There were separate tabs for skills and badges!

Posts tab contains not feed posts (there were no feed posts at all!) but answers in Q&A.

Codes tab:

Here's how settings looked. There's no night mode or themes.

Conclusion

Sololearn has evolved during these 4 years. Now we have DM, feed posts, code coach, night mode and a lot of other things.
