This is issue number one of the SLNP! The first paper, just for Sololearn is here, and ready to share it with y'all. If you missed a day, and maybe didn't catch that, SLNP is here for you to catch you up, give you exclusive interviews, code previews, and more!

Green Ghost announces Absence from Code Playground

In a few days, Green Ghost will release "Swift 2", and then will be gone for around a month in Code Playground. Green Ghost said, "I need thinking time, and a break. I'll come back with a new fun game though. Green Ghost however, will spend minimal time in the forums, Green Ghost also said.

No BIG breaking news so far..

But we'll report any big news we get.

Review on Is 71 too old to start coding?

In this question that took first for three days, had 60+ votes, and 100+ answers, it demonated the Trending section slowly taking 3rd day 1, 2nd day 2, and 1st day 3!

In the question, most everyone stated to just code, and age doesn't matter! This goes for everyone here too!

Review on Improve Programming skills

This took first on the Hotlist on 8/7/19 with only 13 votes and 20 answers.

"Prathyusha Muppidi Start by not doing challenges. They don't reflect reality or even good questions. They are nothing more than brain teasers that you eventually memorize the answers to. They certainly don't improve your knowledge or programming skills. Rather, you should focus solely on programming or look at code challenges that provide a list of requirements with inputs and expected outputs. These become progressively more challenging. That's a much better way to hone your skills." - Daniel Carroll.

We're going to see how long this lasts as this just takes flight as of writing this.

Review on Swift [GAME]

Green Ghost creates a platformer- that tells a story while playing. It has lots of code, and is fun to play. It's not immediate death unlike other platformers. It has pretty good graphics too. If you haven't played it, you should!

In this game, you get to make the girl/woman look pretty with lots of customizable chioces. With around 300 votes, it soared to the top! Make sure to play this one also!

The last "Newspaper" was from April. This is the only current newspaper that I know of.

Interview with Green Ghost

Q: How would you encourage others to start coding, especially if they have never heard about it before ?
A: What made me interested in coding is that you can do animation, games and graphics with it, all of them are things I love. Perhaps you'll enjoy coding once you find something you love in it.
Q: How do you come up with your games?
A: It just takes inspriration, and determination. Oh yes, also knowledge. With those, you can do about anything in coding.
Q: Do you know any non-web languages?
A: Not yet, but I'm getting there.
Q: What will be your next game after Swift 2?
A: It'll be a suprize! You may catch a hint in Swift 2 , but it won't be Swift 3.
