Parrots are a very colorful type of bird. They are very smart. But their color has nothing to do with their behavior. Parrots love interaction and hate to be bored. In a result of boredom They will start to chew on things. For example curtains and walls.

Parrots can chew almost anything that they can get a hold on. Most parrots don't learn to stop chewing on things. So the best way to stop them is by taking it way from them. And some parrots will try their hardest to get to things they know they shouldn't chew.

Parrot Diet

Parrots eat a variety of food. Some food such as olives apple seeds and chocolate can kill them.Most of there diet is fruit and vegetables just like humas.

Parrots need nutrients in order to prevent them from becoming sick. Parrots diet should consist of fruit, vegetables, nuts, little carbs, chicken and turkey is very nutritious for a parrot.

Bonding Bonding with your Parrot can be a long and hard process. Here are some of the best ways to bond with your parrot. Spending a lot of time with your Parrot is very important to bonding, the best way to do this is to leave them in their cage for two hours and then spend 30 minutis with them then two hours in the cage. Most Parrots learn by rewards, so having some treats to give them when they step up on your arm or sholder is very usefull. Parrots will do anthing for attention so congadulate them when they do something good and ignor them when they do something bad.

Punishments

Punishments Punishments are somethimes hard to do becuase you may feal like your going to hert your realitoship with your parrot. By doing it right your realitonship wont be affected. Most Parrots learn by scolding them, the best time to schold them is when they bite you or someone, something, etc. Not paying attaintion is also a good way to punish them when their friendly. For little parrots try blowing on their face, they dont like to be blown on the face becuase it sets them off balance. As for big to mediom parrots, move your arm up and down when their on your arm so it sets off balance.
