A Brief Bio of Harley-Davidson

William S. Harley(1880-1943) and Arthur Davidson Sr.(1881-1950), both Milwaukee natives, came together to create one of the finest motorcycle brands of our era. Harley, the designer of the first Harley-Davidson engines, earned a degree in mechanical engineering in 1907. Davidson was a born salesman, during WWI and WWII he decided to aim production toward aiding the U.S. troops, which led to many more customers after the wars, many of them being soldiers.
