Android as Operating system

Searching the internet I found 2 options

Remix OS is based on Android x86. It has start menu, a taskbar, shortcuts and mouse optimazation. This seems to be the best option, because Remix OS was aimed to run on a laptop. Unfortunately this project has been discontinued.

So the option left is Android x86. The option is last but not least. Remix OS was based on Android x86. The project is live and active. Also it is aimed to let android run on Intel x86.

Let's go for it.

Before I start. Lets look for system requirements. Although it looks like Android request less from the system which it is running on. I like to find out if my old laptop is capable of running this Android x86, before doing anything.
