Learning Japanese

In addition to refreshing, relearning, and expanding my HTML knowledge, I am also in the process of learning Japanese as a language, both spoken and written. It is quite a challenge changing over to completely different alphabets from what you have used your entire life. An example:

Though you might think that learning, at the same time, multiple languages, whether they are for human conversation or computer instruction, may be a little crazy, I am eager to bolster my knowledge of many things. I think it stems from a fascination with how language works within a culture, probably because I have a background in anthropology.

German (Deutsch) - intermediate [College, current]
Latin (Lingua Latina) - intermediate, decaying [High School]
Japanese (日本語) - beginner [Exposure, current]
Spanish (Español) - bits and pieces [Exposure]
French (Français) - beginner, decaying [Post-baccalaureate]
Ancient Greek ('Ελληνικη) - beginner, decaying [Post-baccalaureate]
Korean (Hangul) - tiny bits [Exposure]

You could say that I really like languages.

C++: Familiar, decaying [High school]
CSS: Intermediate, SL certification [Current]

By the way, HTML has changed quite a bit from when I last used it, before HTML5 came out. So, trying to build this web page was a difficult task, but I want to become better and faster.
