SoloLearn Scam Alert!

Hi fellow SoloLearner,

Recently on SoloLearn there has been a scammer operating via DM (direct messaging). The scammer is impersonating SoloLearn, and either appearing as a SoloLearn-run news organisation (sometimes promoting a dating site), as administrators, or a "click to get a discount" person, with a malicious link attached. If you recieve any message from them, there are two steps you should take immediately:

Block the scammer. This can be done by going onto their profile, tapping the three dots in the top-right and clicking "Block".
Report them to SoloLearn directly. Like with blocking them, you go onto the scammer's profile, then you click the three dots in the top-right corner and press "Report".

As well as those steps, like any scam, you should NEVER click on the link. It could potentially harm your device or steal your data.

If you accidentally clicked on the link, follow these steps IMMEDIATELY:

Close the tab. This is so, hopefully, the scam site won't fully load.
Check through your storage to see if any unknown programs are installed. If you see any, delete that program, and restart your device.

Following these steps will keep you safe from scammers.
