A Math/Coding Problem ------------------------------------- Write a code that would perform the following trick: Code: Think of a polynomial p with nonnegative integer coefficients. Now, tell me p(1). User: 22 Code: Okay, now tell me p(30). User: 24307561 Code: Your polynomial is p(x) = x^5 + 8x^2 + 12x + 1. User: That's correct! Another demo: Code: What's p(1)? User: 16 Code: What's p(20)? User: 320185 Code: Your polynomial is p(x) = 2x^4 + 9x + 5 Note: Since non-web codes on Sololearn can't take a second input after the first one is processed, it's not exactly possible emulate this with them on Sololearn. (I suppose we can run the code twice to make it work.) But your algorithm should be able to do this in theory. NO SPOILERS PLEASE! If you want to explain how you did it, please do so inside your code (or using a link). But not in the comments to this post. See my comment below for explanation of terms.
