Introduction

Dart is a client-optimized programming language for apps on multiple platforms. It is developed by Google and is used to build mobile, desktop, backend and web applications.

It is a object oriented, class defined, garbage-collected language using a C-style syntax that transcompiles optionally into JavaScript. It supports interfaces, mixins, abstract classes, reified generics, static typing, and a sound type system.

Dart was unveiled in 2011 and was founded by Lars Bak and Kasper Lund.

Great Standard Library - Dart includes a complete core library that helps developers with collections, formats, conversions, strings, formats, file I/O, math, typed data and regexps and more.	Difficult to use some JS Libraries - Dart is much more than just a programming language as it's a platform with its own standard libraries and tools. To directly interact with JS libraries is not possible in Dart. To use JS libraries users have to use a special library that exposes the wrapped version of JS.
Number of tools available while developing with Dart	While Converting Code to JS still many holes to fill - During the implementation of callbacks, Pass to a type of function that gets passed to JS causes the dart2js compiler to crash.
Easy Prototyping - With an optional Dart system, dart becomes a great language for prototyping. These encourage developers to evolve their programs.	At Present doesn't generate expandable JS - At once the entire application needs to be built on JS.
No Compile Time in development - A browser known as Dartium is integrated with Dart VM that allows to run and debug the native code during the development process for shot edit-reload cycles.	Not that popular - Dart is not popular yet, but may get more popular in the future.
Cross-Platform - Dart compiles to JavaScript. Native code on different platforms that includes Android and IOS by flutter.io.	Small-ish community - Dart has a small community but this may grow in the future.
