How it works

In the input field on the next page, you fill in the email you'd like to check. When you're done, click the button to start the program.

First of all the email is checked for Cyrillic characters. When they appear, they weigh very heavy in calculating the Spam Score. After the Cyrillic check, it's going to check for dangerous words, a list with words which clearly denotes spam. Next up, it's going to check for warning words. These aren't as bad as dangerous words, but they should alert a reader to watch out.

When the warning words check has finished, the email is being checked for any personal details like name, email, phone number, bank credentials and more of these. Next up I made the program look for common spelling and grammatical issues. Then there is only thing left to check: URL's, and I took care of them too.

In the end, the scores of every category is calculated and added up. You can clearly see what category has how many points. Also, I display the email with all the things I found clearly marked.
